Ankeny Runner's Club - Lakeside Park
Today we didn't do very much. I ran a longer lap but other than that I just ran the hills. We talked about nutrition and learned:
Before running: carbohydrates, pasta, and bagels
After run: meats, fish, and chicken for the muscles
I also read some magazines, Runner's World. High School Runners was pretty good, I'm going to the library to see if I should subscribe.
