Scott wanted to re-measure the 50k course loop which would mean about 13 miles for him. I was feeling good and almost instantly decided to make it a long run today (what's 30min late for work?). It had rained overnight but the trails weren't soaking wet. Nice to get 14 miles in before doing a half marathon in a couple of days.
Speaking of which, before this run, I'd started thinking I might just train through this half on Saturday. By that I mean, I'm going to race it, but I don't feel too confident and don't want to sacrifice a whole week of training to completely taper. But mainly, I've got a busy week and don't want to worry about about every decision I make all week and how it will affect my race. Then I can hopefully feel good about the outcome, fast or slow.
