Super solid Fartlek with Alec! The workout was 4 miles easy, then 8 by 1 minute on 1 minute off, then cool down back to the house. I was supposed to do 10 reps but Alec dropped me on the 8th one and he made me stop. Splits of the easy 4 were 7:45-7:09-6:53-7:00. Averages of the 8 1 minute ons are as follows: 5:09-5:07-5:10-5:18-4:52-4:48-4:40-4:53. Averages of the 8 1 minute offs are as follows: 6:43-6:43-7:08-6:49-6:20-6:25-6:50. Cool down for about 1.75 miles at about 7:12 average. Skipped strides because the fartlek suffices. This was a great workout and I gained some fitness for sure.
