Went right to the track after the warm up run and jumped into a timed 3 mile effort to simulate the 1/2 marathon this weekend. There was a fence around the track keeping people off the football field, so I had to run in lane 2 most of the way and lane 4 in the back stretch. I started the watch without resetting it, so I'm not 100% sure about the first 1/2 mile, but it might have been 2:40s. Next 1/2 was 2:40 (5:20s first mile), 5:23 2nd mile and 5:28 3rd. First 2 miles felt smooth but I was getting tight on the last one. I wish those had felt better but I can't complain too much after being up since 2:30. Ran a 31 minute cool down after.
