Temp 54 Wind 9 mph.

Hour @ Easy Effort. Bit breezy, otherwise ideal morning to run. Full moon to start and sunrise to finish, so they even had turned the lights on for me.

Long route to the track. Some stomping in the stride. Six laps with drills in the middle four. 2 x skipping, 1 x high knees, and 1 x butt kicks. Jogging / three-quarter speed strider / jogging to finish out laps. All striders into the wind topping in high 5s. First attempt at butt kicks. Need to watch posture. Focusing on below the waist until I noticed spine wiggling. Good way to get a sore back. Easy jog home with much softer stride after drills.

Amazed as how good the bottom of my foot feels without the glass grinding under my skin. Notice also that the legs feel much more refreshed when doing a 30-minute Recovery Run day after a workout versus the old way of either 40 @ Recovery Effort or 60 @ Easy Effort.

Weds Night - Light chest and back workout, low-intensity core exercises, and stretching.
