Temp 62 Wind 12 mph.

Hour Run / Walk. Bunch of 4:00 minutes running, 2:00 minutes walking; beginning and ending with 8:00 minutes of walking. First time out in these Altra cushioned zero drops. Got them for walking, weigh lifting, and doing things around the house that require wearing shoes. Too soft to train in; however, like this morning, thought I'd try them out on a few run / walks also.

Clear from the start there is additional stress placed on the peroneal. More of a "making it work more" sensation than a "causing trauma" feel. Thinking there will be lots of benefits to walking in these. Running in doses would also appear to be highly beneficial...IN DOSES! After third run interval, duck into the house and change into the K2s to finish today's workout. Didn't notice a thing afterwards. Four minutes at 8:30ish pace equals one lap around the block. Didn't bother hitting the lap button to record individual interval paces.
