Temp 52 (WC 52) Wind 16 mph.

Scheduled 5 miles @ McMillan Running Easy Pace (8:19-8:49). Targeted 8:30. Feeling some fatigue in ankle tendons and medius glute on left side, so altered to (1) do two miles, then (2) see if I wanted to continue at that pace or check it down some. Feeling OK, but not great at 2 miles. Was on track at that point and would have wind at my back on way in, so pressed on. Still learning this "run on feel" thing.

Brought in @ 8:28 average pace, but my splits were uneven. 30 second range. HR too high for Easy Run. Probably should back off pace on my Easy miles between now and Sunday's Long Run.

Temp 52, but windy and damp. Threw on extra light top, hat, and gloves. Good idea until 4th mile, then overheated.

Potential injury note: Track season started Monday. It is dark at this time of the day. High school kids tend to leave their crap on the ground anywhere it lands.
