Temp 75 Wind 5 mph. Humidity 87% Dew Point 71°.

Track Intervals. Probably the most oppressively muggy day so far this year. Takes about 15:00 minutes to jog to the track at an 8:32 average pace. Prime with three short surges along the way, then take one lap to stride the straights and walk the turns. Already soaked to the bone. Strip to the waist and think about taking off my shorts also... Will use a ladder format for the workout. Using lanes 3/4. All jog intervals will be 200.

Better disciplined start this week. Quickly got into ideal spot. Allowed me to keep focus to one rep at a time rather than spreading effort over remaining reps. Felt fully under control by #4 and started to push some on the straights. Flipped directions on #5 and slipped a couple of ticks making adjustment to left turns. Got it figured out and progressed onward to the finish. Adjusted for weather conditions, average paces were 6:15ish efforts. Considering six days ago was throwing up and five days ago could not get out of bed, very happy with performance. Do feel weaker, but that may have been off-set with the fact that I'm lighter.

Another 15:00 minutes back to the house at an 8:33 average pace. Home and more invigorated than beaten.
