Hilly 90:00 Minute LSD Run. Couple of days of lower temps just enough to get a peek at all fitness that is lurking beneath the surface of the heat and humidity. Encouraging. Mugginess is back; which is preferred for training to produce fast fall races.

Start with a few minutes jogging before hitting 5 x hill sprints. Wide awake and ready to go. Have to remember to drive slow and arrive back safely.

Run the Tubman Blvd, Orchard, Veterans, and Main Street Loop. 10.88 miles at 8:28 average pace. 1,256 feet of total inclines. Some shuffling at the midway point on Veterans and hips wanting to fly open when attempting to correct. Finally just stopped, took a couple swigs of sports drink, walked a few steps to regroup, and restarted. Fine. Other than that brief spell, smooth and easy. Pace at 8:35 after half an hour, 8:30 at hour, and 8:28 when done.

Finished with a glorified cool down of 1.52 miles extra easy jogging while taking in more sports drink every few minutes. Not a lot of coins, but several good ones. Three quarters and four pennies.
