Temp 68 Wind 5 mph. Humid (91%) Dew Point 65 degrees.
Lighting storms KOed last night's run. Bad deal. Over 4 inches of rain flooded and closed several streets. Lighting knocked out power to most of area including the regional airport's weather reporting station and both local PDs. Nailed a large pine tree just down the street.
Put me behind on volume for week. Will drop intensity and make up over next few days. Legs almost 100% recovered from Sunday's weight circuits.
Couple laps around the neighborhood to let the sun peak above the horizon. Made sure to hit both hills twice. Took hilly route to The Orchards for a couple of laps, then easy way home. Turned into nice progression. Mile four about 0:30 faster than first three. Next two another 0:15 faster. Final 0.89 was sub-9. All well in McMillan safety range.
