Temp 55 Winds Calm.
AT Tempo Run (Hilly 20/20/20 Format). Wake up to second wet AT run of the week. Fortunately, Fat Elvis, in all his pathetic-pussy-glory, has shared another day of his journey to inspire us masses to get our butts out the door.
Up = 2.43 miles at 8:15 average pace.
AT = 2.77 miles at 7:14 average pace. Held to 20:00 minutes today due to planned time on my feet long run tomorrow. Ran in The Orchards. Felt spot on from the get-go. Checked at 5:00 minute alert and was averaging 7:19. Core was strong this morning and able to stay upright with ideal degree of lean to make turnover effortless. Still, would have been more pleased if I would have averaged about 0:05 seconds per mile slower.
Down = 2.50 at 8:01 average pace. Really? That was 8:01??
