Temp 47 Wind 3 mph.
AT Tempo. About 24 hours ago, chances to run today were less than 50/50. Started feeling much better late afternoon and into early evening. Not 100%, but more than good enough to go today. Bigger plans originally; however, still not wanting to stress immune system more than necessary. Stay in the neighborhood in case shower moves through or start to feel puny again.
Short 12:00 minute jog to start warm up. 1.39 miles at 8:44 average pace. Two full drill sets and two strides.
Workout = 30:00 Minute AT Tempo. Controlled, relaxed, and great execution. Splits for each ten minute segment = 7:39 / 7:30 / 7:22...almost looks like treadmill splits!
Down = Another 12:00 minutes of easy jogging. 1.37 miles at 8:57 average pace. Purposely over-dressed. Few sprinkles and some mist at end of tempo and through cool down.
