Sharpening Day. Muggy. Forecast for fall weather keeps getting pushed further and further back... Jog to the track, walk a turn, surge a straight, jog a turn, surge another straights.
Start with two laps of strides on the straights and jogs on the turns. Move into a session of 6 x 200 with 200 jog intervals. 6:32 / 6:18 / 6:24 / 6:14 / 6:15 / 6:08. Had it down pat by #2, but then it was time to flip directions and re-learn how to turn.
Easy jog back to the house. Come in the house with gear wetter than after running in the rain on Sunday.
