Temp 72 Winds Calm to 5-10 mph. Humidity 97% Dew Point 71 degrees.

4 x 5:00 Minutes at 5K / 10K Effort w/ 3:00 Minute Recovery Jogs. Enough progress after yesterday's recovery run to stay on schedule. Workout on track to save some wear on the legs.

REP -- PACE

#1 -- 6:20. In target range, but think I can do better this morning.

#2 -- 6:05. Started to sprinkle during recovery interval. Sky opened up, wind began to blow, and this turned into wet one. Shoes, socks, shorts soaked before mid-point. Finished running through standing water on the track.

#3 -- 6:09. Hauling around some wet and heavy gear. Legs start to feel it. Rain lets up.

#4 -- 6:11. Back to a sprinkle. Again can feel the extra weight on my feet.

Could I have done two more? No. One more? Yes, but it would have been a bumpy ride. In all honesty, this was a little too much, too soon after Sunday. In scheme of things; however, will be better on the schedule for the remainder of the week. Nothing too taxing for another 72 hours.
