Recovery Run. More recovery from yesterday's mowing, weeding, and excavation than from the running. Lots to talk about, so will probably have to spread it over a couple of days...
Despite the fact 0.019% of our county's population remains infected, and the passing of an octogenarian several weeks ago, folks will be getting paroled come Monday. City announced that two of the three restrooms in the park will be opened that day also. Happen to see City Admin JR walking his dog this morning and had to ask if reason they left the one on Oak & Union closed was to discourage people from using the ball fields. He concurred. Not mentioning that they graded the infields and set up the hitting and pitching cages, asked it they realized that was the only one of the three where you could walk in and out of without touching anything. No official comment, but did seem to recognize the absurdity.
Local run with Fauci results posted yesterday evening. Wondering if everyone who participated forfeits their eligibility to enter an "Independence Day" run...should the good doc allow them to be held.
