CNS Day. Limited options. Treadmill or blue track. Take the track and schedule a CNS workout. About a mile and a half jog over to the high school at 8:07 average pace. Short drill set and two strides to prime.
Workout is three miles of (about) 200 with (about) 200 jog intervals. Mostly lanes 2 and 3. Flipping after 4, 8, and 10. Started each one with a turn and finished on the straight. Into the headwind for 1-8. Riding a tailwind for last four. Not real consistent today. Lingering lower back fatigue and fighting not to lean back and/or "sit". Hit and miss managing the wind also. Average Paces = 6:25 / 6:10 / 6:07 / 6:15 / 6:15 / 6:09 / 6:16 / 6:15 / 6:00 / 6:12 / 6:07 / 6:02.
Down = 1.69 at 8:26 average pace. Couple of small detours. One nickel, so not a zero.
