CNS Track Day. Day one of transition into 50K base training. Jog straight to track at 8:31 average pace. Two laps of strides on the straights and walking the turns to prime.

Workout is 8 x 200 with 200 jogs. Not specific on distance. Running half laps in middle lanes. Starting and finishing on about the 50 yard line to get full turn and equal amounts of headwind and tailwind on each rep. Average paces = 6:05 / 6:11 / 6:04 / 6:07. Only 0:01 second variance on times. Flip directions. 5:53 / 5:57 / 5:46 / 5:45. Have 0:02 variance on times. Last two by far strongest start to finish and evidence of nailing objective of workout.

Jog back to the house at 8:56 average pace.
