Temp 34 (34) Winds Calm.
XC 3/4s Effort Tempo Intervals. Woke up stiff all over. Legs heavy, achy, and sore. Will be in survival mode today. Plan is 16:00 minutes warm-up, then 2 x 16:00 at 3/4s effort XC with 4:00 jog intervals, finishing with 16:00 cool-down.
Warm-up: 2.02 miles in 16:22. Little long getting to starting point.
Rep #1: Loops on the hilly half of the Jax XC course. Average Pace = 7:12.
Rep #2: Loops on the flatter half of the Jax XC course. Average Pace = 7:01. Lead legs.
Cool-down: 1.94 miles in 16:00. Coin collecting = quarter and four pennies.
Not sure how I pulled this one off today. Not saying that it wasn't a grind, but got those numbers honestly. Expecting pace to be 0:15-0:30 seconds slower.
