Temp 62 Wind 15 mph. Gusts to 27 mph. Humidity 89% Dew Point 59 °.
Race Tune-Up. Legs still off-and-on achy. Worse at night and has effected sleep. One night on a Super 8 mattress didn't help either. Had to get up at midnight and pop some ibuprofen last night.
Twenty minutes of jogging and four striders. Held the striders to 10-12 seconds in duration. Some bumpy 5:30s. Twenty-fours hours to race time and I'm a wreck.
Thursday's local running community drama will make for an interesting Saturday morning. Largest area 5K of the year with 500 runners. Expect a lot of SM shirts on display. Probably need to contribute to making sure there are as many of those shirts as possible crossing the line in front of the cameras in the top 10.
