Pre-Race Medium Long Run. Walk out the door and look up to check out this morning's Moon/Mars show. Got a bonus when I happened to be looking in the right place at the right time for an international space station pass over. Warm up by jogging about 12:00 minutes and hitting 6 x hill sprints.
Training plans calls for 60:00 - 75:00 minutes. Moving strong and smooth today, so take advantage to go for near-max time. Total of 8.50 miles at 8:37 average pace over 900 feet of inclines.
Two dimes, twelve pennies, and a watch. Picked up the watch for my granddaughter's dress up drawer and stuffed it in my pocket without much thought. Got it home, got to looking...it's an Apple Watch...and yeah, it works...
