Temp 71 Winds Calm. Humidity 87% Dew Point 70°.

Long Day. Have a pre-run dynamic stretch for hip mobility that has been doubling as a good indicator of day-to-day lower back functionality. Not the best of news this morning.

1) Walk 1.13 miles in 18:06.

2) Run/Walk 3.95 miles in 42:09.

3) Walk 4.44 miles in 1:13:45.

Plan was to periodically walk 3:00 minute intervals with progressive run intervals not to exceed 9:00 minutes. See how far that would take me. Able to do run intervals of 3:00 / 3:00 / 6:00 / 9:00 / 6:00. Was looking to go 9:00 on last one, but right leg begin to get tight coming off decline on Union. Cut it short to 6:00, walked 3:00, then attempted a restart. Still too tight to run with proper form with normal gait. Not as far as I would have liked, but furthest to date in comeback. After walking for over an hour, tightness was isolated to hip and upper-inside of knee. Quarter, four dimes, two nickels, and ten pennies.
