Recovery Run w/ Drills and Striders. Working on about three hours sleep and hair still smelling like smoke after a Powder Mill night, but been while since able to get together for a CBEGM run and not wanting to miss it. Absolute perfect October running weather. KEH racing a "5K" this morning, so meet at Arena Park and do warm-ups. Start with a 3.97 mile out and back on the trail, then follow with about 10:00 minutes of drills and three striders. Big difference doing the striders with company and in the daylight. First two solo. Smooth and easy 5:50ish. Tag along on the last one, relax and attempt to stay close. Big chunk in the middle at 5:16 - 5:20.
