Temp 63 Winds Calm. Humidity 91% Dew Point 60°.
XC Tempo Intervals. Cool, but humid morning. Supper did not digest all the way, but otherwise feel pretty good. Jogging with two surges for 20:00 minutes. 2.50 miles for 8:02 average pace.
Plan is to do 2 x 12:00 minutes at HM effort XC with 3:00 minute jog intervals. Hilly first one, and start the second one in hills, then finish last half on flat / rolling. Go 6:44 / 6:45 for average paces. Legs started to feel heavy coming out of the hills on #2. Not an issue as taking a couple of weeks to get in strength work and this run workout is a bridge between Wednesday's lower-body lift and tonight's plyo.
Cool-down = 2.63 miles in 20:09 for 7:39 average pace. Felt like a brisk walk. Lots of folks out running. Didn't count, but at least a dozen, if not more. Paul F. tickled to show me the penny he found. I get home with two pair...four dimes and four pennies.
