Hill Repeats. Moonless and dark; however, would run in pitch blackness for more of these 53° January mornings. Warm-up of 2.38 miles in 20:00 minutes. Two surges.

Workout is 8 x 0:60 second hill repeats. Jog back to the bottom of the hill, hit a strider, then walk the rest of the four minute interval. Broadridge is a mess. Construction on both sides of road. Section of sidewalk/trail removed. Mud and gravel across road in several areas. Make a 90° turn and work up Orchard Drive towards West Lane. Hill has an ever-so-slight increase in grade about 3/4s the way up. Can feel the tug. Spot on focus, effort, and execution. Money workout this morning.

Early start pays off as street traffic starts to pick up on last three reps. Cool-down jog home of 2.30 miles in 19:07.
