Notes

Temp 71 Wind 12 mph.

Long Run with Stuff. Warm and windy. Set up base at the Jr. High. Notice my attitude is in a good place this morning.

1) 2.35 miles at 8:32 average pace down to the park.

2) 6 x Hill Repeats.

3) 1.97 miles back to Jr. High at 8:34 average pace.

4) Head to track for about 15:00 minutes of drills and strides.

Change shoes, pop a couple of Glukos, and take off for five laps in each direction at AT.

5) 2.85 miles at 7:08 average pace. 10:00ish minute splits of 7:13 / 7:04. Don't think I broke stride once in last 10:00 minutes.

Jog a recovery lap, take quick hydration break, pop another Glukos, then back on the track to see what kind of intervals I can drop nine miles deep into my day. Lane 8, 200 jogs after each.

6) 2 x 200 (6:32/6:33)

7) 2 x 400 (6:27/6:26)

8) 2 x 600 (6:22/6:23)

Got mechanically locked in on first 200 and never lost it.

9) 1.60 miles at 8:32 average pace. Cool down jog after changing back into Vazees. Damn good day and did not feel stressful or high impact. Two quarters, four dimes, and twelve pennies.
