Temp 41 Winds Calm.
General Workout. Over four hours driving yesterday, plus another couple of just sitting on my ass in a chair. Luckily, hay is in the barn for this cycle. Nothing monumental to do today. Park at high school and jog about 12:00 minutes to Russell/Cascade hill. 6 x hill sprints, then over to Safety City for a pre-tempo pit stop.
Decide to play a little this morning. Will run 3 x 12:00 minute tempos with 4:00 minute jog intervals. Want to see if I can settle in at 7:30, or just below, and cruise effortlessly. Started with a loop of the park, hit the hill on Oak to mix up terrain and allow sun to light up new section of Hubble Creek Trail, then headed out for two laps around the Civic Center and back. Was so relaxed after about 15:00 minutes that would have had to stop and walk to keep pace from progressing. Ended up averaging 7:23 for entire 44:00 minutes.
