Warm-up and cool-down for Dogwood-Azalea 5K. Run most of course with Hammer, Tayvee, and Shawn G. Big turnout for race and festival today, so we're parked in several different directions. Split up and head off to hydrate, lose the long-sleeve, and change into flats. Head over to a side street for some drills and striders. Total "up" today of 2.79 miles in 24:37.
Head back out on the course post-race for cool-down. Meet up with Hammer on Gilmore Avenue and we jog for a while before meeting up with MO Running Co's Bruce N. and Anthony B. Split up back at the grounds, then do an off and on jog back to the car to get liquids. Total cool-down of 2.84 miles in 26:02
