Temp 74 Winds Calm. Humidity 89% Dew Point 71°.

Track Intervals. Up = 2.37 miles total. 1.83 miles at 8:29 average pace with a couple of surges up small inclines. Have some stiffness this morning, so take two laps of walking turns and striding the straights.

Same rep number and distance as last couple of workouts. Target remains 10K / 5K effort. Been mostly focusing on CNS to reestablish fast turnover for extended periods. Today, will begin to move more towards VO Max emphasis by cutting jog intervals from 400 down to 200. Counting laps (lanes 2-4) rather than exact distances. Flipping after 800 and each 1200.

400 @ 6:32 average pace.

800 @ 6:19 average pace.

1200 @ 6:23 average pace.

1200 @ 6:20 average pace.

1200 @ 6:28 average pace.

Overall OK. Maybe a tad soft on last one, although did not necessarily feel like it? Numbers in line with previous interval workouts even with highest MI (145) and shorter jog intervals.

Down = 1.70 miles at 9-something. Hit wrong button to stop watch.
