Long Run. Plan this week was for a "time on my feet" long run. Fell into place nicely as this would have been what I would have had to have done regardless. Another nasty day. Don't notice it as much, but not because of acclimation; just at a point where my attitude towards the heat and humidity is "screw it". Started overcast, but sun poked through and warmed things up to mid-70s by end of run.

Take a 2.33 mile jog at 7:55 average pace to get things going. Next up is a low-impact drill set with two medium length striders. Scoot over to Russell Street and hit 4 x 12-14 second hill repeats with 2:00 minute walk intervals. Short jog back to car for about 4-6 ounces of water before heading out on the town.

Headed over and out Ridge Road. Planned to loop back by the car at around six miles for another gulp of water. Several steep hills in first couple of miles, but managed them well and hit four miles feeling real good and barely sweating. Extended the loop and ended up going 9.24 miles at 7:41 average (and even) pace before coming in for water. Quick drink and shake the rock out of my shoe that had been rubbing on the hot spot on my right foot for the last couple of miles. Back out again for another 2.88 miles at 7:28 average pace. Felt refreshed and perky.

Solid day's work and getting back close to neutral after Friday's borderline-fiasco. Today was "big damn dime" day...8 of 'em. Quarter, nickel, and five pennies also. One full cycle and $1.15 total.
