Temp 30 Wind 4 mph.
Easy Run. Roads ain't pretty out there, but do not believe I can hold up to another TM run this soon after Sunday. Will go out and run for an hour as slow as necessary to feel safe. Round and around the block on the flat(er) Lilac Lane / Boxwood Drive loop. Wore the Hattori LCs since the soles are similar to boating deck shoes. Could have literally ice skated the entire loop...yes, literally. Found a paper thin layer of unpacked sleet on side of the road for traction. Made it fine with no falls and only a couple of minor slips early when pace edged towards 8:30. Backed off and stayed upright. Ironic that this ice dancing slog pace would have won the December Frostbite Half-Moronthon OA by over 20:00 minutes.
