Temp 67 Winds Calm. Humidity 90% Dew Point 64°.

Long Run Workout. Jog to track and take two "primer" laps of surges/strides on the straights and walk/jogs on the turns. Workout is 3 x AT Tempo Intervals: 9:44 Minutes @ 7:25 pace / 1 Lap Jog / 11:16 Minutes @ 7:18 pace / 1 Lap Jog / 9:29 Minutes @ 7:07 pace. Finish the morning with another 50+ minutes jogging.

Nice to re-connect with personal training principals and get "honest" fitness data. Training for Capaha Classic, got into mode of looking forward when planning and doing individual workouts. This morning, was able to re-focus on true purpose of AT tempo which is cardio workout to train aerobic pathways...running (because that's what I do) is just a means to achieve desired training effect. Result = honest, organic negative splits.

Two quarters, a dime (1966...darn, almost!), two nickels, and seventeen pennies.
