(Medium) Long Run. CBEGM originals this week leaving from Arena Park. 4.13 miles out and back on the LaCroix Trail to MoRunCo. Averaged 7:45.
Take a few minutes to hit some drills and strides before heading out again.
Running down to the river, decide to check out the new trail extension that runs out to Red Star. Mississippi River up to within feet of the trail. Life in Galloway's 5th stage of a runner: Coasting along at 8 mph on a clear sunny morning, barely 50° in mid-May, and within arm's reach of the largest river on the continent...be hard to get any better. Actually it did, found $2.00 along Broadway on way back. 6.88 mile trip at 7:38 average pace. In addition to the cash, picked up another dime and four pennies here and there.
