Temp 35 (WC 35) Winds Calm.

Plan is 3 x 9:00 Minutes @ 10K-15K Effort w/ 3:00 Minute Jog Intervals. Each with a purpose. Foggy morning, but so far, best day of week for a workout.

(1) First 3:00+ minutes on the track, then out the gate to finish with 5:00+ minutes on some rolling hills. No problem. (2) Wanted to run at least the last 3:00 minutes just a notch above LT. Positioned climb on Oak Street to do the trick. Got closer to 4:00 minutes in at that effort. (3) Wanting to run about 6:00 miuntes of last one just a notch above LT. 6:10 pace for first 3:00 minute split puts me there. Pace starts to take a hit, but stay on mission and keep things in check. Took on two climbs in last 3:00 minutes because I know what's facing me on Silver Springs Rd in 6th mile of 10K. Rough managing focus, form, and turnover this late in the game...which is why I'm out here doing this in a training run.

Overall: Mid-week performance at 5:00 a.m. in the dark on semi-tired legs? Will take this effort any time, any day, any week.
