Temp 35 (28) Wind 8 mph.

CBEM Sunday Workout. Co-founders only this morning. Chilly start, warmed quickly into low 40s, but wind picked up to 15 mph. Warm up jog of 4.13 miles starting at 8:15ish and finishing at 7:45ish. Next up is 16:00-plus minutes of drills and strides. Got the "dead legs". Mid-week long run and 5 miles at 7:30ish XC on Friday have zapped out all the tension. Not necessarily a bad thing or unexpected; however, need to be aware and tweek workout efforts.

Workout is 5 x 1M with 400 jog intervals. Will start at HM effort and only work towards 15K effort. Not wise to attempt to push to 10K this week. Need to relax, be a mature adult, and run ALL OF THEM under control. Go 6:46 / 6:33 / 6:30 / 6:28 / 6:21. Think those hit the mark.

Very easy 1.56 mile cool-down at 8:46 average pace. Good honest day's work to finish honest week's work. Knew going out the door this morning that it would be one of those days where all would be fine as long as I took the first step. 13+ miles later, that assessment was as true as it always is.
