Temp 47 (WC 43) Wind 9 mph.
Sixty minutes at Easy Effort. Made a point to start slower. Legs fresher than I expected. (Actually legs fresher than I deserved after bolting off at 8:00 m/m yesterday.) Was going to run some laps on soft track, but youth football sent me on to the park. Got there and road closed for what looked like some kind of cookoff. By the time I re-routed second time, it was time to head home.
Looking forward to Long Run tomorrow. After re-reading Mcgill's blog on Christian Cushing-Murray's performance in Syracuse, got something I've never thought about in a master's context to bounce around in my head while I'm out.
Another reason why I'm glad I live here: Didn't think before heading back on Mary St. about creek maybe being over road. Got there and about 3-4 inches under water. Gentleman in truck arrived about the same time, stopped, called me over, and told me to hop on to his sideboard. Home now with dry feet.
