Warm-Up and Cool-Down for Harvest Festival 5K. Chilly. Decent warm-up on the course, then finding a side street for drills and striders. Feel pretty good. Jogging around an 8:15 pace and striders are sharp. Back a car, hook my cousin up with some gloves and a Garmin for his first 5K. Forget to shoot a GU. Total time of 26:36 (2.94 miles).
Cool-Down starts immediately. Back out on the course to run my cousin in the last 1K. He ends up running the whole thing and winning the 45-49 AG. Real happy with his rookie race. Peel off at the finish line and head off in a different direction. Stop at 19:55 (2.25 miles).
