Long Run. Cooler today. Never got out of the 60s, but very muggy. CBEGM originals leaving Arena Park at 6:30 a.m. Get there a little early to get warmed up and primed to go. Jog a big loop and do a few drills with a couple of strides.
Take off with Hammes and head to the casino, back along the river and out to the Southern Expressway. Pick up the trail and bring it back for another 1.5 loops of Arena Park. All told, 10.98 miles at 7:43 average pace. Cash dump at the casino. Four singles. I was able to snag three, he got one. Four pennies elsewhere for a $3.04 morning.
