Hill Repeats. Jog over to Clark Rec Complex hitting a couple of surges between Brookside and Civic Center. 2.30 miles at 8:22 average pace.

Workout is 4 x 90 second hill repeats. Jog back to the bottom, then walk before starting another one every 5:00 minutes. Starting at culvert next end of bridge guardrail and finishing at Clark Mansion driveway. First one slow (100-101 seconds) and sloppy. Second one better (96 seconds) but still a bit sloppy. Checked down the effort a tick to allow full control top to bottom for last two. Finished with a 96 and a 95. Better. Always enjoy the challenge (and effectiveness) of this workout. Hard enough at face value, just do it. Easy for one to totally screw up if approach is to prove to yourself you are a badass.

Take a 2.06 mile route back to the house at 8:19 average pace. Almost ran for free...one dime.
