Temp 36 (29) Wind 8 mph.
Warm-up to the track with surges. 2.19 miles in 20:00. After over three months, time to re-learn 5K/10K Effort. First day of class. Plan is 6 x 2:00 Minutes @ 5K/10K Effort w/ 2:00 Minute Jog Intervals.
#REP -- (Pace)
#1 -- (6:26) All on the track. Starting to sprinkle.
#2 -- (6:36) Almost all uphill. Raining harder, roads are wet.
#3 -- (6:30) Over 50% uphill. Starting to get the feel.
#4 -- (X.XX) Wet finger slipped off lap buttom without pressing hard enough. Again over 50% uphill. Estimate 6:20-6:30.
#5 -- (6:06) More favorable terrain heading back to track.
#6 -- (5:50) Back on the track. Almost like cheating. Full control start to finish.
Cool-down jog home. 1.90 miles in 17:49.
(NOTE: After first rolling out of bed, took a few steps and had to grab the wall to catch myself from falling. Later, missed a door and walked into the facing with shoulder. Became disoriented again when getting up off the floor after stretching. No problems during workout, but wierd, and scary, start to morning??)
