Hour @ Easy Effort w/ Drills and Striders. Heat Index 86 before sunrise...this s&!# ain't right. Will be focusing today and tomorrow on stride. Twenty-five minute route to track. Low-impact drill set. 2 x skipping and carioca, 1 x marching, butt-kicks, high knees, and foot shuffles, with 4 half-speed long striders. Short session of static stretches, then jog home. Not a lot one can do with a morning like this. Heat spell drags on. Stay healthy, put in the work, and be ready for first opportunity to race a fast time.
