20/30/20 Aerobic Run. Nasty damp, foggy morning. Back (sciatic) informs rest of body during warm-up that it will be sitting this one out. Up - To the track with a couple of surges on the straights. 2.16 miles in 20:48.

Fitness test today. Was getting the sense from last few workouts that tired legs and some general fatigue were tugging on workout paces. Want to check and make sure I'm not just being lazy or complacent. Plan is to mix it up good...5:00 minutes on the track to start, 20:00 minutes of hills in The Orchards, then back for the last 5:00 on the track. Re-ran HR numbers yesterday and a perfect 3/4s effort run should average a 160 HR. This is a test, so will only look at Garmin 1x to check pace after 400 meters. Effort to be 100% on feel.

Splits: 7:30 / 7:31 / 7:33 / 7:15 / 0:11. Pace @ 400 meters 7:25. Average HR = 159. Yeah baby, that is TRAINING.

Cool-down of 1.91 miles in 17:11. Ready for some CBEM Subway time today.
