Newton Hill

Notes

Sweet workout today. Coach measured out an 800m loop that was down for 400m, and up for the 2nd 4, then we turned to the top of Newton hill for 200+m more. Great weather, ~65 degrees.

Warm up felt a little tight due to DHH, Sister's Moreland, and the new strength workout yesterday, and I didn't think I was well hydrated. I worked with the 2nd group, Pat, Tom, and Kyle and all 3 of them had a pretty good workout, we got into a nice rhythm and just clicked 'em off (I'd usually pull away a bit in the final 200). Kyle went for a 7th, and seemed to be feeling really good. I probably could have done a 7th, but my mouth was dry, I was pretty winded after the 6th, and I had the two harder runs the past couple days... ok laundry list of excuses, but I felt like it was a good idea to end this workout on a high note.

Tom left this workout feeling good, which, after last Saturday is important for both of us, and hopefully we'll take a good step back to where we were last year at UMD.
