Started this run at 10:40 and it was already really hot. I carried a water bottle but it was no where near enough for the conditions. The temp showed 90F and feels like 97 when I got done and wouldn't be surprised if it was hotter on the pavement I was running. I liked the shoulder they added last year for the first 3 miles of the loop. Pace was pretty slow with the heat. I walked/ran the big hill and some of the others as well. By the last 2 - 3 miles I was really hurting for water. I was tempted to borrow someone's hose but did not. Originally I had planned to go 19 miles but was in no condition to go any further once I completed the loop. Weight was down about 5 lbs when I got home and this was after drinking all the water I had in the car on the way home so no wonder I felt crappy.
