Really beautiful. Our hotel was right next to the old city walls so just had to go through Porta de Pinciana and into the park. Beautiful morning for it and lots of Romans were out walking, running and doing Roman things. A beautiful place to run past a surprising amount of artwork, old building and museums in a nearly car-free environment. It had a sort of NYC Central Park feel but with even fewer people and cars. From the Pincio Promenade there was a great view overlooking Piazza del Popolo (where we had stood the day before) and the Vatican behind it.
My legs felt surprisingly good after an entire day of travel and then walking many miles around the city the day before.
