Notes

Just ran it. Hot and humid again.

This run was the biggest eye opener yet. No drills, no strides, no intervals, no pace ... I just ran easy and natural and tried to focus on form the entire time. Keeping my spine and pelvis straight up and down, chin up, and pushing off from the glutes. I am sure that none of the hip flexor stretching, core or balance stuff has had much affect yet, so this was totally just the result of knowing what good form should feel like, and then doing it. No pain. And even though it felt like I was barely moving a lot of the time, I was rolling along at a decent long run pace with minimum effort.

At memorial (10.5 miles or so in) I stopped to guzzle some water and soak my head. Afterward when I started running I had no pain and stiffness--that's the first time I've stopped and restated again that deep into a run and had no pain in probably a year. Shit.

Stretched hip flexors.
