Damn. First mile felt fine, then wind hit my hip on Pikisaari bridge. It tightened up and HURT. Two walking breaks second mile, also sped up a few times when I shouldn't have to get it over with. Okay time, but HR hit high of 143, ave. 134. I should have babied it another day. Now my planned 2nd 2-miler today is toast--I hope it's not a real injury now.
Air temp 26-27F, "feels like" 16F. Wore UA compression shorts under C9 tights, Helly Hansen top, Hincapie wool jacket, white gloves, yellow Bill Rodgers knit cap. Comfortable, a little hot at times but didn't feel need to unzip jacket. Too windy!
