44 at start, 41 at finish, intermittent rain and occasional wind. 1701 cal/20% fat. Wore black tights NOTE: chafing for 2nd time, red Drumstick Dash shirt, red Hind vest, no gloves, white cap. Aidan and I felt good, gave our best time for this distance. Last Indy Runner run--tapering from now on, short distances only.
Just two days after Bricks to Bricks ten miler, so was worried about legs. Shin hurt two miles in but got better. Toenails still holding on--3 on right foot turning purple.
Really felt good. About mile 6, my legs started to feel stiff, but pace was okay. Splits:
