Much better than last week! What a difference some preparation makes! Better times, too.

36:37 to Kevin Yetman sign (didn't track it last week)

50:34 to tunnel (about 2:30 better than last week)

50 minutes to do the out-and-back (about a minute better than last week)

Had a sub-8 minute on Henderson Rd even with a walk break.

left a bottle of Nuun and a Gu at the end of the tunnel/start of the "hook" (weird names these trail segments are getting) and that made such a difference to be able to have some Nuun at 4.5 miles, then the Gu and the rest of the Nuun at 9.2 (before the "hook" trail heading to the Chute). Met Peter at the end of the trail/Henderson Rd and he took my empty bottle and I had a drink from the next very cold (was frozen) bottle of Nuun, which he later left down at the start of the powerline trail. Still having to go on Goldhill because of the sinkholes, but the distance is about equivalent and of course, same as last week.

I still got tired, almost felt like cramps might start but they never did. But having hydration and Gu on the course made a huge difference. As did not over-exerting yesterday. This run was a real confidence booster.
