Somewhere between mile 2 and mile 8 my Garmin lost about a quarter mile or so... seemed consistently "off" for the rest of the race, so I think the mile splits from that point are pretty good.
This went much better than I thought it would. It'd rained hard yesterday evening, and off and on throughout the night. But no rain on the race, and the trails weren't too bad so most of the rain must have been east of Ester Dome.
Very happy with how my first 50k turned out! I was thinking I'd be under 5:30, but not by this much!
One fall just before starting the trail of the out-and-back, tripped on a rock... nothing torn or damaged.
Post race: foot is sore, and I'll be stiff tomorrow but not bad at all.
