Probably one of the best long runs I can remember having. Only 90 seconds of "stop" time, including waiting for the light at Parks and Geist, and just a few short (15 seconds) walk breaks, first one up the hill by the power plant on campus (mile 10). Just focused on relaxing, keeping a steady stride at low effort (although that hill up by Plant Kingdom was a challenge, I ran the whole thing!), and most of my miles seemed to fall in the 8:34 to 8:40 range. The temps made a huge difference, with starting temp at about 56° and ending at about 67° with the sun coming out in the last few miles. Picked up the truck (Peter went to CO last night) and headed to Safeway for chocolate milk!
